I’m interested in furniture that has presence — pieces that can be appreciated as objects in their own right, while remaining grounded in everyday use. Each design begins with proportion, material and form. I work exclusively in solid wood, allowing the character of the timber to become part of the piece rather than something to be disguised. Function is always considered, but it doesn’t have to come at the expense of expression. The aim is to create furniture that feels individual, tactile and beautifully resolved — pieces that draw the eye, invite use and become more personal with time.
